SinoHub is dedicated to improving electronic component supply chain management and procurement-fulfillment of electronic components and assemblies in China, the largest electronics market in the world.
Harry Cochran (CEO) and Lei Xia (President) founded SinoHub, Inc. in 2000 to build a world-class electronic component supply chain management service platform to facilitate the growth of China's electronics industry. The platform, which is based on an online software system, SinoHub SCM™, was developed internally by SinoHub's software team and the company owns the intellectual property associated with it.
SinoHub SCM provides transparency to all participants across each customer's supply chain. This transparency offers significant benefits to manufacturers, who for the first time can fully realize the benefits of leveraging common components across multiple projects. SinoHub SCM, which is tailored specifically to the needs of the electronic components market in China, effectively combines information uploading, processing, query and services, such as fulfillment, import/export, logistics, bill of material management, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), financial information and customer inquiry services into one integrated solution. SinoHub SCM supports the company's easy-to-use and reliable one-stop-shop electronic component supply chain management platform. SinoHub's Enterprise customers are currently using this platform to serve and manage their own customers and suppliers.
The majority of SinoHub's business is currently in the mobile phone sector and the overwhelming majority of the products its customers make are sold locally in China. Rapid technology advancements and the requirement for speed make the mobile phone sector the ideal beneficiary of SinoHub's platform. Because other sectors also benefit from SinoHub's platform, the company is quickly diversifying with a significant portion of its business now coming from the network equipment sector.

Business Model
SinoHub's Three Business Lines:
1 Supply Chain Management (SCM) - SinoHub sells transportation, customs handling and warehousing services to meet the supply chain management needs of electronic component suppliers, design houses and electronics product manufacturers - all of whom use SinoHub's Web-based SCM application.
2 Electronic Component Purchasing (ECP) - SinoHub sells components to its design house and electronics product manufacturer customers.
3 Virtual Contract Manufacturing (VCM) - SinoHub produces electronics products to order for sale in developing overseas markets by coordinating design services, component purchasing and manufacturing/assembly services in China - mainly provided by SinoHub clients. SinoHub's VCM customers are mobile phone distributors and operators in developing countries outside of China - like Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
